"At the centre of this piece is a tribute to the often-overlooked heroes of the natural world: mycelium, fungi, and microorganisms. These humble beings are portrayed as the silent kaitiaki (guardians) of regeneration and renewal. They embody the timeless wisdom of the earth, reminding us of the delicate balance between life and death, creation and decay."
