Tihei is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Ngāmotu New Plymouth, Taranaki, founded by Te Āti Awa artist Rangi Kipa. Tihei works with clients through co-design to generate visibility and positive outcomes for tangata whenua and all peoples of Aotearoa through the application of kaupapa Māori thinking and making. Tihei’s studio team covers an array of disciplines, working on projects including commissioned artworks, co-design of major architectural works, landscaping and identity design.
